X-RAY EXAMINATION

Today, modern dentistry can not be imagined without X-ray diagnostics. Aregak dental clinic has a fifth-generation JMorita computed tomography device.

Orthopatomography
Pantomographic is a photo review which allows in short time to get a lot of information about all the teeth and jaw bones. The ill effect on the patient is less than during the process of taking an ordinary X-ray picture while the information got by the doctor is much more. The image (electronic or on X-ray negative) gives an opportunity to the doctor judge about the situation of periodontium and evaluate special orthodontic treatment. Pantomographic image is stipulated by international treatment standards, which advise to have such detailed examination not less than once a year.

X-ray Computed tomography

Computed tomography of the jaw has undeniable advantages compared with other methods of X-ray diagnostics, since in the study of a conventional X-ray image, we can only get a surface image of the object, and during computed tomography a full three-dimensional object is scanned. Computed tomography allows in the shortest possible time to conduct a combined study of the teeth and sinus cavities, and to solve the localization of the mandibular nerve. In addition, due to the use of modern digital technologies, the amount of radiation is significantly reduced, which allows the use of research not only for diagnostics, but also for monitoring the quality of treatment.

ORAL CAVITY EXAMINATION

The oral cavity, its mucous membrane and lymphoid tissues of the maxillofacial region play an important role in the interaction of the human body with the environment.
Microorganisms that live in the oral cavity, on the one hand, contribute to the digestion of food and the synthesis of vitamins, on the other - form products that damage dental tissue.
Practical doctor must be proficient in the procedure of examination of dental patients and, first of all, the oral cavity and teeth. Fully conducted examination of the patient allows you to establish not only the localization and nature of the pathological process, that is, to justify the diagnosis, but also to provide for the further course of the disease, it’s likely outcome. Based on the results of the examination of the patient, the doctor chooses the tactics of treatment, establishes indications and contraindications to various therapeutic measures.
Research methods in clinical dentistry include interviewing the patient, examination (both external and oral cavity), examination of the oral cavity and teeth, as well as peri maxillary soft tissues, sensing, percussion, palpation. Methods based on the use of X-ray, electrical donometry, laboratory and others are additional, as sometimes the diagnosis can be made without their use. For diseases of the mucous membrane and periodontal use special methods of research.
